Frequently asked questions
What is your core service?
We utilize Xactimate, a widely accepted industry standard estimating program to provide a peer review of your detailed Xactimate construction, repair, and rebuild estimates. We issue our peer review to you with valuable feedback on specific scope or cost line items, industry standard practices, and key insights to assist in making your own business decisions.
How does your peer review service work?
You contact us by email with a request for a peer review. Your request should include the .Esx file of your estimate that you want reviewed in either contractor or carrier profile, any important notes about the estimate that you want us to know, and your main contact information. We will generally acknowledge receipt within 24 hours.
What are your service fees?
We charge a hourly rate with a minimum standard charge for each estimate submitted for a peer review. Contact us directly for rates.
When can we expect to receive our peer review?
Depending on the size and complexity of the estimate, you could receive your Peer Review as fast as 48 hours, however, there is no guarantee for deliverable timeframes. It will always be dependent on our current assignment que as well as other factors. Once the assignment is received, it is likely that we can provide an estimated delivery date. Please be assured that delivering our completed peer review to you as quickly as possible is our priority.
Do you offer a refund if we aren't happy?
No. Our service is based on providing an opinion only. Its been our experience when it comes to estimates that inevitably one party or another may not agree with or be happy with any given outcome. We are committed to providing our valuable insights and feedback to our clients, which is based solely on our opinions. Our peer reviews are meant to be insightful, educational, and helpful for our clients who value open, honest, straight-forward, and clear feedback to use in making their own business decisions.
What services don't you provide?
We do not provide building consulting services, property inspections, damage assessments, appraisals, umpire services, estimates, legal services or expert witness testimony. We do not provide legal, business, or other advice. Our peer review services are for informational and educational purposes only and are based solely on our opinions.
